Flowability of Electrolytic Copper Powder

Materials Science Forum, 2005
The surface structure of powder particles, which allows free flow of copper powder, was examined. It has been shown that a sufficiently dense surface structure which permits free flow will be obtained if apparent density is higher than 2.2 – 2.3 g/cm3.

Atomized copper powders

Soviet Powder Metallurgy and Metal Ceramics, 1981
For the first time in the Soviet Union pilot-plant batches of copper powder have been produced by the method of atomization of melts with water under high pressure. The powder produced is characterized by increased apparent density and flowability. The best compressibility (2–6 tons/cm2) is exhibited by the powder after annealing.

Vibration Cladding of Copper Powder with Aluminum

Inorganic Materials: Applied Research, 2019
This paper proposes a method for rapid cladding of copper powder with aluminum. The optimal parameters (frequency and amplitude of oscillations) of the experimental setup and the dispersity and volume fraction of the interacting powders are determined. The most productive cladding mechanism is considered. Dependences of the coating thickness (from 5 to

Fine Copper Powders Production

Defect and Diffusion Forum, 2021
The article is devoted to the description of a method for producing electrolytic copper powder with an average particle size of 3 to 10 μm. In order to increase the proportion of the finely dispersed fraction during the electrolysis process, the composition of the electrolyte was changed. In particular, the content of chloride ions was increased from 6
