Extraversion, Neuroticism, and Employee Voice: A Conservation of Resources Perspective
Drawing on the Conservation of Resources (COR) theory, we constructed a model about how two of Big-Five personality traits, extraversion and neuroticism, respectively, influence employee voice through an indirect effect of emotional exhaustion.

The Simulation of the Inelastic Impact
The coefficient of normal restitution (COR) in an oblique impact is theoretically studied. Using a two-dimensional lattice models for an elastic disk and an elastic wall, we investigate the dependency of COR on an incident angle and demonstrate that COR ...

From Networking to Attitudinal Outcomes: Psychological Capital as a Mediator
Building on conservation of resources (COR) theory and following recent recommendations, this study investigates the mediating role of Psychological Capital (PsyCap) in the relationships between networking behaviors and attitudinal outcomes (i.e., work ...

On the intersection motive of certain Shimura varieties: the case of Siegel threefolds
In this article, we construct a Hecke-equivariant Chow motive whose realizations equal intersection cohomology of Siegel threefolds with regular algebraic coefficients. As a consequence, we are able to define Grothendieck motives for Siegel modular forms.

In the domain of organizational socialization, a new research paradigm and trend concerns work engagement path way to studying newcomer assimilation through the lens of socialization resource theory (SRT). Drawing on theories of SRT and COR (conservation of resources), the present study develops and validates an integrative model, in which the effect ...

We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

Architecture, Analysis, and Design of Systems Using Extensions of Category Theory
The engineering of systems has lacked the scientific and mathematical underpinnings enjoyed by traditional engineering disciplines. Earlier work of the authors formulated advanced mathematical methods for architecture definition and the use of model ...

Monstrous moonshine relates distinguished modular functions to the representation theory of the monster. The celebrated observations that 196884=1+196883 and 21493760=1+196883+21296876, etc., illustrate the case of the modular function j-744, whose ...

Reciprocal relationships between resource loss and psychological distress following exposure to political violence: an empirical investigation of COR theory's loss spirals [PDF]
We conducted a four-wave prospective study of Palestinian adults living in the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and East Jerusalem, interviewed between 2007 and 2009 at 6-month interval to explore transactional relationships between resource loss (i.e., intra and interpersonal resource loss) and psychological distress (i.e., posttraumatic stress disorder and ...
