Preparation of spherical FeSiCr powders by improved combination atomization process

open access: yesFenmo yejin jishu
The conventional combined atomization smelting process was improved and optimized in this paper, the powder morphology was improved by enhancing the effect of the primary atomization stage and prolonging the time of droplet spheroidization.

Core Losses in Co-Rich Inductors with Tunable Permeability [PDF]

open access: yes
High frequency, low loss power systems enable electrified aircraft propulsion. Filter inductors that reduce noise in high current systems can account for 50% of the motor drive mass.

Organ‐specific redox imbalances in spinal muscular atrophy mice are partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotides

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Characterizing the salivary RNA landscape to identify potential diagnostic, prognostic, and follow‐up biomarkers for breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study explores salivary RNA for breast cancer (BC) diagnosis, prognosis, and follow‐up. High‐throughput RNA sequencing identified distinct salivary RNA signatures, including novel transcripts, that differentiate BC from healthy controls, characterize histological and molecular subtypes, and indicate lymph node involvement.

Core losses of an inverter-fed permanent magnet synchronous motor with an amorphous stator core under no-load

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2016
In this paper, an interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) with a stator core made of amorphous magnetic material (AMM) is presented. The IPMSM is driven by a voltage source three-phase inverter with classical pulse width modulation (PWM ...

The response of a high voltage transformer with various geometries of core joint design [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
The core losses in a three phase transformer can be significantly reduced by improving the core joint geometry. The researchers were applied numerous types of T-joint designs in order to reach the optimum design that can be used in three phase ...

Adenosine‐to‐inosine editing of miR‐200b‐3p is associated with the progression of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A‐to‐I editing of miRNAs, particularly miR‐200b‐3p, contributes to HGSOC progression by enhancing cancer cell proliferation, migration and 3D growth. The edited form is linked to poorer patient survival and the identification of novel molecular targets.

Hotspots, mantle plumes and core heat loss [PDF]

open access: yesEarth and Planetary Science Letters, 2002
Abstract The heat flux at the core–mantle boundary (CMB) is a key parameter for core dynamics since it controls its cooling. However, it is poorly known and estimates range from 2 TW to 10 TW. The lowest bound comes from estimates of buoyancy fluxes of hotspots under two assumptions: that they are surface expression of mantle plumes originating from ...
