Members of the family Coronaviridae cause a broad spectrum of animal and human diseases. Systemic effects of sunlight: 10‐year review of cardiovascular, infection and cancer outcomes

This review highlights the systemic effects of sunlight and ultraviolet radiation. While UV radiation exposure has known cutaneous risks including photoaging and skin cancer, evidence suggests potential associations with reduced all‐cause mortality, improved infectious disease outcomes and reduced blood pressure.

Incidental Detection of Respiratory Viruses in Lung Transplant Donor‐Recipient Pairs: Exploratory Associations With Clinical Outcomes in a Post Hoc Analysis

In 53 lung transplant donor‐recipient pairs, community‐acquired respiratory viruses were incidentally detected by syndromic PCR in 13.2% of donor and 20.8% of recipient bronchoalveolar lavages, with exploratory, unadjusted signals towards longer hospitalization and chronic lung allograft dysfunction.
