By formulating creams with caprylic acid‐based hydrophobic Natural Eutectic Solvents and assessing their stability, rheological behaviour and sensory properties, this study demonstrates how these systems can act as multifunctional, COSMOS‐compliant ingredients that modulate emulsion characteristics without compromising formulation properties.

Hydrophobic natural eutectic solvents can function as structural oil phase substitutes in creams prepared by low‐energy processes, enabling sustainable, regulation‐compliant formulations with desirable sensory profiles. Abstract Objective This work evaluates whether hydrophobic natural eutectic solvents can replace the conventional oil phase in ...

Cosmology with shear ratios: a joint study of weak lensing and spectroscopic redshift datasets
The ratio of the average tangential shear signal of different weak lensing source populations around the same lens galaxies, also known as a shear ratio, provides an important test of lensing systematics and a potential source of cosmological information.

In this study, the difference in the sporadic E layer occurrence ratio between two low‐magnetic‐latitude (±5° to ±15°) regions is analyzed by using COSMIC scintillation observations covering the period from 2007.001 to 2017.365.

Abstract Exercise in the heat often causes gastrointestinal (GI) disturbances, which can impair performance. Single amino acid supplementation can attenuate gut damage and enhance exercise tolerance; however, the effectiveness of innate amino acid blends from plant‐based proteins remains underexplored.

X-Ray-Cosmic-Shear - Cosmic-Shear Cross-Correlations
We report the first detection, at very high significance (23σ), of the cross-correlation between cosmic shear and the diffuse x-ray background, using data from the Dark Energy Survey and the ROSAT satellite. The x-ray cross-correlation signal is sensitive to the distribution of the surrounding gas in dark matter halos.

Gravitational Lensing of Galaxy Clustering
We investigate lensing reconstruction using the clustered galaxy distribution as a source field, using both the traditional cosmic microwave background quadratic estimator and a shear-only estimator. We calculate the expected signal-to-noise ratio of the

Acceleration and Spectral Redistribution of Cosmic Rays in Radio-jet Shear Flows
A steady-state, semi-analytical model of energetic particle acceleration in radio-jet shear flows due to cosmic-ray viscosity obtained by Webb et al. is generalized to take into account more general cosmic-ray boundary spectra.

The effect of imperfect corrections of PSF anisotropy on cosmic shear measurements
Current measurements of the weak lensing signal induced by large scale structure provide useful constraints on a range of cosmological parameters. However, the ultimate succes of this technique depends on the accuracy with which one can correct for the ...
