Investigation of the unbound 21C nucleus via transfer reaction
The cross section of the transfer reaction 20C(d,p)21C at 30.0 MeV is investigated. The continuum-discretized coupled-channels method (CDCC) is used in order to obtain the final state wave function.

12С(15N, 14С) 13N reaction mechanisms at energy 81 MeV and 14С + 13N nuclei interaction
The 12С(15N, 14С)13N reaction at the energy Еlab(15N) = 81 MeV for ground and excited states of 14С and 13N nuclei was investigated. New experimental data of the reaction cross-sections were obtained.

Elastic and inelastic scattering of 15N ions by 12C nuclei at energy 81 MeV
ew angular distributions of the 15N + 12C elastic and inelastic scattering were measured at the energy Elab (15N) = 81 MeV. The data were analyzed within the coupled-reaction-channels method (CRC). The elastic and inelastic scattering as well as the more

Effective radii of deuteron induced reactions
The continuum-discretized coupled-channels method (CDCC) for exclusive reactions and the eikonal reaction theory (ERT) as an extension of CDCC to inclusive reactions are applied to deuteron induced reactions.

Mass correlation between light and heavy reaction products in multinucleon transfer 197Au+130Te collisions [PDF]
We studied multinucleon transfer reactions in the 197Au+130Te system at Elab=1.07 GeV by employing the PRISMA magnetic spectrometer coupled to a coincident detector.

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Eikonal Reaction Theory for Neutron-Removal Reaction
We present an accurate method of treating the one-neutron removal reaction at intermediate incident energies induced by both nuclear and Coulomb interactions. In the method, the nuclear and Coulomb breakup processes are consistently treated by the method

Large-angle scattering and quasi-elastic barrier distributions [PDF]
We study in detail the barrier distributions extracted from large-angle quasi-elastic scattering of heavy ions at energies near the Coulomb barrier. Using a closed-form expression for scattering from a single barrier, we compare the quasi-elastic barrier

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...
