Reflection-Type Topologies With Arbitrary Wideband Flat Group Delays Using Coupled Lines
This paper presents the analytical design techniques of several reflection-type group delay (GD) circuits (types-I-III) with arbitrarily prescribed wideband flat GD responses using λ/4-coupled lines.

Hybrid Qubit gates in circuit QED: A scheme for quantum bit encoding and information processing
Solid state superconducting devices coupled to coplanar transmission lines offer an exquisite architecture for quantum optical phenomena probing as well as for quantum computation implementation, being the object of intense theoretical and experimental ...

Circuit elements at optical frequencies: nano-inductors, nano-capacitors and nano-resistors [PDF]
We present some ideas for synthesizing nanocircuit elements in the optical domain using plasmonic and non-plasmonic nanoparticles. Three basic circuit elements, i.e., nano-inductors, nano-capacitors, and nano-resistors, are discussed in terms of small ...

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Microstrip filters for measurement and control of superconducting qubits
Careful filtering is necessary for observations of quantum phenomena in superconducting circuits at low temperatures. Measurements of coherence between quantum states requires extensive filtering to protect against noise coupled from room temperature ...

Tunable delay lines in silicon photonics: coupled resonators and photonic crystals, a comparison [PDF]
In this paper, we report a direct comparison between coupled resonator optical waveguides (CROWs) and photonic crystal waveguides (PhCWs), which have both been exploited as tunable delay lines.

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox

Nonsingular Green’s Functions for Multi-Layer Homogeneous Microstrip Lines
In this article, three new green's functions are presented for a narrow strip line (not a thin wire) inside or on a homogeneous dielectric, supposing quasi-TEM dominant mode.
