Milk Temperatures of Dairy Cows During Milking
British Veterinary Journal, 1980SUMMARY Observations were made at evening milkings on Friesian and Jersey cows. Their rectal temperatures were taken immediately before milking and the temperatures of their milk during milking. The average body and milk temperatures of the Friesian cows were significantly higher than those of the Jerseys.
