Mutant NPM1 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Initiation and Maintenance
NPM1 mutations drive acute myeloid leukemia by acting as neomorphic transcriptional regulators that cooperate with Menin–MLL and XPO1 to sustain HOX/MEIS1 expression and block differentiation. Targeting these mutant‐specific transcriptional dependencies provides a rational therapeutic strategy for NPM1‐mutated AML.

Simulation of fatigue behaviour in fusion welded 2024-T351 [PDF]
A model has been developed to predict short crack fatigue life in the fusion zone of Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welded 2024-T351, based on the observed propensity for complex, multiple cracking processes in this region.

Damage characteristics and energy storage evolution law of coal with pressure relief borehole
In the environment of deep strong mining-induced stress, phenomena such as borehole collapse, closure and compaction are prone to occur in large-diameter pressure relief boreholes in coal seams, and the pressure relief effect shows obvious time-effect ...

Developmental and Epileptic Encephalopathy due to Biallelic Pathogenic Variants in PIGM
ABSTRACT Objective PIGM encodes a critical enzyme in the glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)‐anchor biosynthesis pathway. While promoter‐region mutations in PIGM have been associated with a relatively mild phenotype characterized by portal vein thrombosis and absence seizures, recent evidence suggests that coding‐region mutations result in a more severe

Multidimensional Profiling of MRI‐Negative Temporal Lobe Epilepsy Uncovers Distinct Phenotypes
ABSTRACT Objective Although hippocampal sclerosis (TLE‐HS) represents the most frequent cause of temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE), up to 30% of patients show no lesion on visual MRI inspection (TLE‐MRIneg). These cases pose diagnostic and therapeutic challenges and are underrepresented in surgical series.

Anisotropic FCGR behaviour in hot-rolled Mg-3Al-0.5Ce alloy
In this work, anisotropic fatigue crack growth rate (FCGR) behaviour in a hot-rolled Mg-3wt%Al-0.5wt%Ce alloy was investigated using compact tension (CT) specimens with notch (an) parallel to the rolling direction (RD) and transverse direction (TD).

ALDOA Promotes Glycolysis and NLRP3/GSDMD Pyroptosis to Accelerate ALS Progression
ABSTRACT Objective Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is characterized by progressive motor neuron degeneration. Glycolytic dysregulation is implicated in disease progression, yet the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. This study investigates how Aldolase A (ALDOA) drives ALS progression through glycolysis‐mediated motor neuron pyroptosis.

Load-Cmod data analysis for crack closure [PDF]
The use of load/crack-mouth-opening displacement (CMOD) records during fatigue cycling to estimate crack closure is evaluated by comparing load/CMOD values to benchmark crack opening data.

Characterization of Microstructural Effects on Fatigue Crack Closure
The growth of a fatigue crack is modified by the development of contacts between the crack faces1,2 creating shielding and thus canceling a portion of the applied load. These contacts develop through a number of mechanisms, including plastic deformation, sliding of the faces with respect to each other and the creation and collection of debris such as ...

Early Clinical, Imaging, and Pathological Characteristics of SRPK3/TTN‐Digenic Myopathy
ABSTRACT Objective SRPK3/TTN‐digenic myopathy was recently established as a skeletal muscle myopathy caused by digenic inheritance. This study characterizes the early clinical presentation of SRPK3/TTN‐digenic myopathy in one previously reported and seven newly identified pediatric patients.
