Stacking Fault Complexions in AgSbTe2 Thermoelectrics With Enhanced Electrical Conductivity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Atomic‐scale characterization resolves stacking fault complexion in AgSbTe2, showing Te and Sb segregation along with lattice dilation. Their enhanced effects on phonon scattering are modeled analytically. Although most defects also impede electron transport, local four‐point‐probe measurements reveal higher electrical conductivity at stacking fault ...

The Crack-Tip Fields of Reissner’s Plates of Radial Functionally Graded Materials [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
For homogeneous material plates and non-homogeneous material plates, the crack-tip field plays an important role in the research of fracture mechanics. However, the governing equations become the system of the sixth order partial differential ones with ...

Bio‐Derived Polyelectrolyte Additive–Induced Interfacial Ion‐Diffusion Barriers for Nonvolatile Organic Artificial Synapses

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Sodium alginate regulates interfacial ion transport and retention in electrolyte‐gated synaptic transistors. The carboxylate‐rich polymeric network forms a dynamic interfacial ion‐diffusion barrier that facilitates ion injection during programming while suppressing ion back‐diffusion, thereby stabilizing the electrochemically doped channel state.
