Effect of Scoring Condition on Creasing Characteristics of Double-Wall Corrugated Board

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Mechanical Design, Systems, and Manufacturing, 2012
A prototype-rotary creaser was experimentally applied to an AB double-wall corrugated fiberboard to reveal creasing characteristics of the corrugated fiberboard and mechanical factors on failures of its height wise crease.

Evaluation of Changes in Fold Cracking and Mechanical Properties of High-Grammage Paper Based on Pulp Fiber Modification

open access: yesBioResources, 2023
The demand for high-grammage paper, 150 g/m2 or more, is increasing for product protection and aesthetic value. Fold cracking, resulting from high mechanical pressure during folding, considerably decreases the economic feasibility of such products for ...

Measurement of electron correlations in LixCoO2 (x=0.0 - 0.35) using 59Co nuclear magnetic resonance and nuclear quadrupole resonance techniques [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
CoO2 is the parent compound for the superconductor NaxCoO2\cdot1.3H2O and was widely believed to be a Mott insulator. We performed 59Co nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and nuclear quadrupole resonance (NQR) studies on LixCoO2 (x = 0.35, 0.25, 0.12, and ...
