Numerical simulation of creep notched bar of P91 steel

open access: yesFracture and Structural Integrity, 2022
Numerous components designed for use at elevated temperatures now exhibit multiaxial stress states as a result of geometric modification and material inhomogeneity.

Effect of Ce on creep damage behavior of 316LN austenitic stainless steel at 700 °C

open access: yesJournal of Materials Research and Technology, 2023
The effect of rare earth element Ce on creep damage behavior of 316LN austenitic stainless steel (316LN) at 700 °C was systematically investigated under stress ranging from 125 MPa to 200 MPa. The results show that the addition of 0.032 wt% Ce remarkably

Creep behavior and cavitation evolution of 15CrMoG steel at high temperatures

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2019
15CrMoG steel is a type of heat-resistant steel frequently used in boiler and piping systems. Creep properties of the 15CrMoG steel at service temperatures are not much documented due to the difficulties in obtaining long-term creep data.

Reliability analysis of creep rupture dataset extrapolation methods for 316H austenitic stainless steel [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences
The prediction of the service life of high temperature structural components is critical to the safety of structures. Due to the scarcity of long-term test data, it is necessary to extrapolate and analyse the creep rupture data set to predict the life of

Crystal plasticity study of the effect of asymmetric structure of diffusive film cooling hole on heterogeneous creep and fracture behavior of NBSC superalloy

open access: yesJournal of Materials Research and Technology, 2023
The heterogeneous creep and fracture behavior of nickel-based single crystal (NBSC) superalloys with inclined and diffusive holes are investigated. The analyses are made by creep experiments and crystal plasticity (CP) simulation with a modified creep ...

Micromechanics of creep fracture: simulation of intergranular crack growth [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
A computational model is presented to analyze intergranular creep crack growth in a polycrystalline aggregate in a discrete manner and based directly on the underlying physical micromechanisms.

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.
