Near critical electrolytes: Are the charge-charge sum rules obeyed?

Journal of Chemical Physics, 2012
In an electrolyte solution the charge-charge structure factor obeys $S_{ZZ}(k;T,\rho )=0+\xi _{Z,1}^2k^2\break -\xi _{Z,2}^4k^4+\cdots$SZZ(k;T,ρ)=0+ξZ,12k2−ξZ,24k4+⋯ , where ξZ, 1 and ξZ, 2 are the second- and fourth-moment charge-charge correlation lengths depending on the temperature T and the overall ion density ρ. The vanishing of the leading term,

Accurate Linear Model for SET Critical Charge Estimation [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) Systems, 2009
In this paper, we present an accurate linear model for estimating the minimum amount of collected charge due to an energetic particle striking a combinational circuit node that may give rise to a SET with an amplitude larger than the noise margin of the subsequent gates. This charge value will be referred to as SET critical charge (QSET).

Theory to determine the critical charge density

IEEE Transactions on Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation, 1998
In this paper we determine theoretically the critical charge density in the system grounded metallic sphere, uniformly charged dielectric plane, in the presence of grounded surfaces. This is a situation frequently encountered in industrial condition and is important in evaluating the danger of the electrostatic discharges.
