Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.

We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Critical scaling of the quantum Wasserstein distance
Distinguishing quantum states with minimal sampling overhead is of fundamental importance to teach quantum data to an algorithm. Recently, the quantum Wasserstein distance emerged from the theory of quantum optimal transport as a promising tool in this ...

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

Tandem VHH targeting distinct EGFR epitopes were engineered into a monovalent bispecific antibody (7D12‐EGA1‐Fc) with more potent ADCC without increasing affinity to EGFR. Structural modeling of 7D12‐EGA1‐Fc showed cross‐linking of separate EGFR domains to enhance CD16a engagement on NK cells.

Intercriticism and the Myth of Critical Distance
The term inter-criticism is quite clearly one that has been made up for this particular colloquium. I wasn’t sure what it meant going into this paper and, having now completed my paper, I am still not sure what it means.

Optimal Guidance Law for Critical Safe Miss Distance Evasion
In pursuit–evasion scenarios, the pursuer typically possesses a lethal zone. If the evader effectively utilizes perceptual information, they can narrowly escape the lethal zone while minimizing energy consumption, thereby avoiding excessive and ...

Clinical analysis reveals significant dysregulation of FGFRL1 in esophageal cancer (EC) patients. RNAi‐coupled next‐generation sequencing (NGS) and in vitro study reveal FGFRL1‐mediated EC progression via EMT, PI3K/Akt, and Notch pathways. Functional assays confirm its role in tumor growth, migration, and invasion.
