This paper presents the experimental results the choked flow characteristics of a subcritical refrigerant through a converging-diverging nozzle. A test nozzle with a throat diameter of 2 mm was designed and developed.

Inhibition of CDK9 enhances AML cell death induced by combined venetoclax and azacitidine

The CDK9 inhibitor AZD4573 downregulates c‐MYC and MCL‐1 to induce death of cytarabine (AraC)‐resistant AML cells. This enhances VEN + AZA‐induced cell death significantly more than any combination of two of the three drugs in AraC‐resistant AML cells.

Improving PARP inhibitor efficacy in bladder cancer without genetic BRCAness by combination with PLX51107

Clinical trials on PARP inhibitors in urothelial carcinoma (UC) showed limited efficacy and a lack of predictive biomarkers. We propose SLFN5, SLFN11, and OAS1 as UC‐specific response predictors. We suggest Talazoparib as the better PARP inhibitor for UC than Olaparib.
