Critical Values for Cointegration Tests [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper provides tables of critical values for some popular tests of cointegration and unit roots. Although these tables are necessarily based on computer simulations, they are much more accurate than those previously available.

The effect of organic farming on soil physical properties, infiltration and workability [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Organically managed land has increased to 4 % of the total area of agricultural land in the UK. Changing land management can impact upon the rural environment (soils, hydrology and biodiversity) and rural community (socio-economics and culture).

A critical review of the psychometric properties of the Nijmegen Questionnaire for hyperventilation syndrome. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
The Nijmegen Questionnaire is commonly used by physiotherapists and other health professionals in clinical and research settings. This outcome measure was developed by researchers at the Nijmegen University in the Netherlands as a screening tool for the ...

Microbiome−host proteostasis crosstalk—An emerging perspective on mechanisms and interventions toward healthy longevity

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Proteostasis and the gut microbiota play a key role in shaping host physiology. Microbiota‐derived metabolites, vitamins, and RNA modulate host proteostasis. Findings from model systems, including C. elegans, indicate microbes can either stabilize or disrupt host proteostasis.

Normal State Properties of Quantum Critical Metals at Finite Temperature

open access: yesPhysical Review X, 2020
We study the effects of finite temperature on normal state properties of a metal near a quantum critical point to an antiferromagnetic or Ising-nematic state. At T=0, bosonic and fermionic self-energies are traditionally computed within Eliashberg theory,

Phosphoinositides and inositol phosphates as molecular glues

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Inositol phosphates (IPs) and phosphoinositides (PIPs) regulate diverse eukaryotic processes. Beyond recruiting signaling proteins or acting as structural cofactors, recent studies suggest they mediate protein–protein interactions as natural molecular glues.

Synthesis and characterization of Argania spinosa (Argan oil) biodiesel by sodium hydroxide catalyzed transesterification reaction as alternative for petro-diesel in direct injection, compression ignition engines

open access: yesHeliyon, 2019
In this research work, the optimization conditions for obtaining optimum biodiesel yield from argan oil as well as the quantification of degree of interactions between reactants and biodiesel yield were investigated by using a response optimization model

Structural insights and therapeutic targets in Acinetobacter baumannii capsule biosynthesis

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Hypervirulent KL49 A. baumannii's capsular polysaccharide contains the nonulosonic acid 8‐epi‐Leg5,7Ac2, synthesized by epimerization via ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC. Crystal structures of ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC reveal their role in CMP‐Leg5,7Ac2 synthesis and regioselective C8 epimerization.
