Investigating F_L(x,Q2) at fixed energy in the color dipole formalism [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
At small-x, the structure function F_L(x,Q2) is driven by the gluon content of the nucleon target and consequently it can unravel the underlying QCD dynamics in that region.

Structural insights into lacto‐N‐biose I recognition by a family 32 carbohydrate‐binding module from Bifidobacterium bifidum

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Bifidobacterium bifidum establishes symbiosis with infants by metabolizing lacto‐N‐biose I (LNB) from human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs). The extracellular multidomain enzyme LnbB drives this process, releasing LNB via its catalytic glycoside hydrolase family 20 (GH20) lacto‐N‐biosidase domain.

Nonadiabatic effects in the H+H_2 exchange reaction: accurate quantum dynamics calculations at a state-to-state level [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Real wave packet propagations were carried out on both a single ground electronic state and two-coupled-electronic states of the title reaction to investigate the extent of nonadiabatic effects on the distinguishable-atom reaction cross sections.

Crosstalk between the ribosome quality control‐associated E3 ubiquitin ligases LTN1 and RNF10

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of the E3 ligase LTN1, the ubiquitin‐like modifier UFM1, or the deubiquitinating enzyme UFSP2 disrupts endoplasmic reticulum–ribosome quality control (ER‐RQC), a pathway that removes stalled ribosomes and faulty proteins. This disruption may trigger a compensatory response to ER‐RQC defects, including increased expression of the E3 ligase RNF10 ...

Using Fractionalization Indexes: deriving methodological principles for growth studies from time series evidence [PDF]

open access: yes
Recent cross country growth studies have found that ethnolinguistic fractionalization is an important explanatory variable of long-run growth performance.

Phenotypic Variation and Genetic Purity of the Original \u27Prime-Jim®\u27 x \u27Arapaho\u27 Population [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
In 2013, Castro et al., produced the first linkage map for primocane-fruiting blackberries using the cross ‘Prime-Jim®’ x ‘Arapaho.’ This mapping population has been maintained since the original experiment with the hopes of conducting future studies ...

Interplay between circadian and other transcription factors—Implications for cycling transcriptome reprogramming

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This perspective highlights emerging insights into how the circadian transcription factor CLOCK:BMAL1 regulates chromatin architecture, cooperates with other transcription factors, and coordinates enhancer dynamics. We propose an updated framework for how circadian transcription factors operate within dynamic and multifactorial chromatin landscapes ...

Unit root and cointegration tests for cross-sectionally correlated panels - Estimating regional production functions [PDF]

open access: yes
There is a plethora of studies of regional production functions using stationary panel data. Only some recent works consider non-stationary panel data. All of them assume the hypothesis of cross-section independence.
