Pion Productions with Isospin-Dependent In-Medium Cross Sections
Total pion yields and π−/π+ ratios in two Sn+Sn collision systems, 132Sn+124Sn (neutron rich) and 108Sn+112Sn (neutron poor) at E=270A MeV, are significant observables in SAMURAI Pion-Reconstruction and Ion-Tracker (SπRIT) experiments.

Entropy Theory for Cross-Sections [PDF]
We define the notion of entropy for a cross section of an action of continuous amenable group and relate it to the entropy of the ambient action. As a result, we are able to answer a question of J.P. Thouvenot about completely positive entropy actions.

ABSTRACT Background Maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) patients frequently suffer from frailty, characterized by reduced physical function and poor prognosis. Myokines, such as myonectin, secreted by muscle, are emerging regulators of systemic health. This study investigated the relationship between serum myonectin, adipokines (adiponectin, omentin), and ...

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

N3LO+N3LL QCD improved Higgs pair cross sections
We report a new calculation of the soft-gluon threshold resummation for the Higgs boson pair production in the dominant production mode — gluon-gluon fusion — up to the next-to-next-to-next-to-leading logarithmic (N3LL) accuracy.

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Neutron capture cross sections of Kr
Neutron capture and β− -decay are competing branches of the s-process nucleosynthesis path at 85Kr [1], which makes it an important branching point. The knowledge of its neutron capture cross section is therefore essential to constrain stellar models of ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Dissecting exclusive multijet cross sections
This paper studies multijet cross sections in the kinematic limit where one or more of the jets are unresolved. We study the asymptotic expansion of the cross section by using the method of regions.

(n, xn) cross sections on 56,57Fe
The Gamma Array for Inelastic Neutron Scattering (GAINS) operated at the Geel Linear Accelerator (GELINA) neutron source was used to measure (n ,xn) cross sections on 56,57Fe reaching a level of uncertainty of the order of 5%.
