Identification of a ferroptosis related genes signature and GDF15 contributing to a new perspective for the diagnosis of CRPC

open access: yesScientific Reports
Prostate cancer (PCa) is a highly prevalent malignancy among men. Castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) is the main pathological type leading to the death of patients.

NRF2/xCT‐Mediated Antioxidant Adaptation Attenuates Apoptosis Induced by ASCT2 Inhibition in Prostate Cancer

open access: yesCancer Science, Volume 117, Issue 10, Page 2769-2789, October 2026.
ASCT2 inhibition induces ROS accumulation and activates NRF2‐dependent xCT upregulation in prostate cancer. This adaptive response partially supports residual cystine acquisition and glutathione synthesis, whereas combined ASCT2 and xCT inhibition disrupts redox compensation and predominantly promotes apoptotic cell death.

SCOPE OF THE SUBORDINATE JUDICIARY UNDER SECTION 482 OF CRPC [PDF]

open access: yes
Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) extends plenary powers to the High Courts to deal with any form of criminal matters. But whether these powers percolate down to the magistrates courts is a question because time and again these courts ...

Abstract 228: Identification of a novel biomarker to predict castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) by the proteome analysis

open access: yes, 2017
Prostate specific antigen (PSA) is useful for screening prostate cancer, while it has no reliable correlation with pathological malignancy of prostate cancer and is not a predictor for castration resistant prostate cancer (CRPC).

Population Pharmacokinetics of Cabozantinib: Updated Analyses Including Data in Combination With Atezolizumab in Patients With Castration‐Resistant Prostate Cancer and Other Tumor Types

open access: yesClinical and Translational Science, Volume 19, Issue 10, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Cabozantinib is a small‐molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor approved for the treatment of various locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors. The phase 1b COSMIC‐021 study evaluated cabozantinib as a monotherapy or in combination with atezolizumab in patients with advanced solid tumors, including castration‐resistant prostate cancer (CRPC ...

Mechanism of AR transactivation in CRPC cells: role of Nrf2, p65-Nrf1 and p120-Nrf1.

open access: yes, 2014
In CRPC cells (e.g. C4-2B), despite ADT, residual androgens (e.g. DHT) increase nuclear p65-Nrf1 and simultaneously decrease both total Nrf2 and nuclear p120-Nrf1 levels.

THE ROLE OF DOCETAXEL AS FIRST-LINE CHEMOTHERAPY ON PSA LEVEL AND QOL IN CRPC PATIENTS [PDF]

open access: yes
Objective: Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer in men and the fifth leading cause of death worldwide. 10-20% of cases can progress to a more aggressive stage called castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) with a higher death rate ...

Inactivation of ID4 promotes a CRPC Phenotype with Constitutive AR Activation through FKBP52.

open access: yes, 2016
Castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) is the emergence of prostate cancer cells that have adapted to the androgen-depleted environment of the prostate.

Cyclin‐dependent kinase 12 deficiency reprogrammes cellular metabolism to alleviate ferroptosis potential and promote the progression of castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesClinical and Translational Medicine
Background Cyclin‐dependent kinase 12 (CDK12)‐deficient prostate cancer defines a subtype of castration‐resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) with a poor prognosis.
