Deterministic Transferable Planar Dielectric Mirrors for Investigating Strong Light–Matter Coupling
Transferable dielectric distributed Bragg reflectors enable the deterministic assembly of high‐quality planar microcavities while maintaining the intrinsic properties of quantum materials during fabrication. The resulting structures exhibit robust exciton‐photon coupling in monolayer WS2${\rm WS}_{2}$ from cryogenic to room temperature, establishing a ...

A Geomag‐inspired dynamically reconfigurable POSS framework is constructed to form an antifatigue solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) for lithium metal anodes. The rigid POSS nanocages and reversible hydrogen‐bonded junctions enable adaptive stress dissipation and stable Li+ transport during repeated plating/stripping, thereby suppressing dendrite ...

Enhanced Vertical Sidewall Quality for Functional AlN Films in 3D Piezo MEMS Applications
Integrating piezoelectric materials onto the vertical surfaces of microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) microstructures enables three‐dimensional piezoelectric (3D piezoMEMS) devices, providing multi‐axis sensing and actuation capabilities with a reduced

ABSTRACT Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) remains largely incurable due to the blood‐brain barrier (BBB) and immunosuppressive microenvironment. While boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) selectively eradicates tumor cells via 10B(n, α)‐7Li reactions, its clinical potential in GBM is unrealized because of the suboptimal pharmacokinetics of conventional ...

An asymmetric sulfonate solvent forms thermally stable interphases and demonstrates non‐flammability, suppressing heat accumulation for safer, high‐performance lithium‐ion batteries. ABSTRACT An asymmetric sulfonate‐based linear solvent, 2,2,2‐trifluoromethyl mesylate (FMS), is designed and used as the primary solvent in liquid electrolytes to enhance ...

Modulating surface acoustic wave generation through superconductivity [PDF]
Surface acoustic waves (SAWs), with their five orders-of-magnitude slower propagation velocity, allow for considerably shorter wavelengths at the same frequency compared to electromagnetic waves. The short wavelengths allow for device miniaturization and

Niobium nitride (NbN) broadband plasmonic metasurface absorbers provide an efficient platform for solar‐energy conversion through hot‐carrier injection. Quasi‐epitaxial NbN features a low work function of 4.0 eV, reducing the interfacial injection barrier and facilitating charge transfer into adjacent photocatalysts.
