Theories of CSCL

open access: yes, 2021
This chapter examines collaborative learning as cognition at the small-group unit of analysis, and highlights theoretical questions concerning interrelationships among individual, collective, and cultural cognition. CSCL is a theory- and research-based pedagogical vision of what collaborative learning could be like, thanks to innovative computational ...

Regulating secondary phase of Rb‐based aggregates for efficient and stable perovskite solar cells

open access: yesFlexMat, EarlyView.
By introducing RbAc into the precursor solution, the crystallization pathway is optimized, excessive lead iodide is eliminated, grain size increases, and defects are passivated in the perovskite films. The obtained perovskite devices exhibit improved power conversion efficiency and operational stability. Abstract Passivating defects in perovskite films

Simulated Root Exudation Gradient Reveals Dosage‐Dependent Carbon Sequestration in Desertification Ecosystems

open access: yesLand Degradation &Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Root exudates serve as a key driver for the restoration of soil organic carbon (SOC), particularly in aeolian desertification ecosystems where aboveground litter retention is limited. While Salix cupularis is widely planted as an effective pioneer shrub for ecological rehabilitation on the Qinghai‐Tibet Plateau, how the quantity of its root ...

Sustainable PEG‐Based Shape‐Stabilized Phase Change Materials Using Raw Pine Cone as a Low‐Cost Filler and Graphite for Enhanced Thermal Conductivity

open access: yesPolymer Engineering &Science, EarlyView.
Preparation of sustainable PEG‐based ssPCMs using a PC‐based low‐cos filler and G as a thermal enhancer. PEG 6000 is incorporated into the PC/G matrix through mixing to obtain the shape‐stabilized PCM for thermal energy storage applications. ABSTRACT This study investigates the development of a novel shape‐stabilized phase change material (ssPCM ...

Multi‐Scale Engineering of Photonic Meta‐Structures With Emergent Optical Resonances via Colloidal Crystal Engineering With DNA and Microwell Templates

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
This work presents a bottom‐up strategy for forming meta‐structures built from DNA‐assembled nanoparticle superlattices, establishing a versatile platform for multiscale photonic materials design. Confinement stabilizes non‐equilibrium crystal habits and enables geometry and mode control independent of lattice symmetry.
