Cu(II) and Zn(II) morpholinyldithiocarbamato complexes, formulated as [Cu(MphDTC)2] and [Zn(μ-MphDTC)2(MphDTC)2], where MphDTC is morpholinyldithiocarbamate were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, spectroscopic techniques and single ...

An unexpected trinuclear Cu(II)–thiazolidine complex has been synthesized by mixing CuCl2·2H2O with the Schiff base ligand, 1-(((4,5-dihydrothiazol-2-yl)ethylidene)hydrazono)methyl)phenol L, in ethanol.

Biophysical characterisation shows that NanX, a membrane transport protein from the major facilitator superfamily (MFS), forms both monomers and dimers after purification. AlphaFold modelling and substrate docking provide information on residues likely involved in substrate recognition for NanX and another MFS member, NanT.

GelMA‐based 3D spheroids recapitulate transcriptomic and functional hallmarks of myeloid sarcoma
GelMA 5% hydrogels support the formation of myeloid leukemia spheroids that recapitulate MS‐specific features, including G1 arrest, apoptosis, and ECM‐driven transcriptomic reprogramming. The 3D model mimicked soft‐tissue‐like stiffness and oxygen conditions, and transcriptomic convergence with primary MS samples confirmed its utility as a preclinical ...

Progressive Parkinsonism in PPP2R5D‐Related Neurodevelopmental Disorder
ABSTRACT PPP2R5D‐related neurodevelopmental disorder (Houge–Janssens syndrome type 1) is a rare autosomal dominant condition characterized by macrocephaly, intellectual disability, and epilepsy. Progressive parkinsonism is an emerging adult phenotype that neurologists should be aware of since timely genetic diagnosis opens the door to disease‐modifying

Stage‐Dependent β‐Synuclein Links MRI and Cognitive Decline in Alzheimer's Disease
ABSTRACT Objective Synaptic degeneration drives cognitive decline in Alzheimer's disease (AD), but synaptic biomarkers are scarce. Brain‐enriched β‐synuclein emerged as a synaptic damage marker. We investigated its diagnostic, prognostic, and structural correlates across the AD continuum.

CYTOTOXIC ACTIVITY OF AMINOCARBOXYLATEMACROCYCLIC Cu(II) COMPLEXES
Five binuclear complexes with general formula [Cu2(L)tpmc](ClO4)4, L= valine (1), norvaline (2) leucine (3), norleucine (4) and isoleucine (5) were tested in vitro against human tumor cell lines: THP-1 (human acute monocytic leukemic cell line), Jurkat (human acute T cell leukemia) and Ramos (B cells, Burkitt’s lymphoma cell line).
