Polarographic Determination and Antimicrobial Activity of Cu(II) Complex with 4-Chlorobenzylidene-4-aminoacetanilide

open access: yesE-Journal of Chemistry, 2012
The electrochemical behaviour of the complex of Cu(II) with 4-chlorobenzylidene-4-aminoacetanilide (CAA) was studied. It was observed that CAA forms 1:1 complex with Cu(II) in between pH 6.5 to 7.1.

Electroanalytical Characterization of a Copper(II)-Rutin Complex

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrochemical Science, 2011
A Cu(II)-rutin complex was prepared with a metal to ligand molar ratio of 3:2 by mixing stoichiometric amounts of rutin and CuCl2. The isolated complex was characterized by IR and UV/Vis spectroscopy and incorporated into a plasticized PVC-membrane using

Cu(II) Ion-Selective Electrodes Based on Cu(II) Complex with Cyclized Salophen

open access: yesZeitschrift für Naturforschung B, 2003
Several versions of Cu(II) ion selective electrodes (ISE), based on cyclized N,N'-bis(salicylidene)-o-phenylenediamine (salophen) complexes with Cu(II), were fabricated for determination of Cu(II) in aqueous solutions. The response of the ISE was optimized by variation of membrane composition and evaluation of various experimental conditions.

Molecular dynamics simulations of positively selected codons in FcγRI reveal novel biochemical binding properties

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...
