Cucurbitacins from Acanthosicyos horridus

Phytochemistry, 1986
Abstract Roots of Acanthosicyos horridus have yielded, in addition to known triterpenes, cucurbitacins and sterols, dihydro- epi - iso -cucurbitacin D ( epi - iso cucurbitacin R , tetrahydro- epi - iso -cucurbitacin I or tetrahydro- iso -elatericin B), identified on the basis of spectroscopic and chemical evidence, and thus shown for the first ...

Cucurbitacins from Bryonia cretica

Phytochemistry Letters, 2010
From the roots of Bryonia cretica L. two new cucurbitacins, isocucurbitacins G (1) and H (2), along with three known cucrbitacins, cucurbitacins G (3), H (4), and J (5) were isolated. The structures of 1 and 2 were determined on the basis of 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic analysis and X-ray crystallography.

Cucurbitacins from Picrorhiza kurrooa

Phytochemistry, 1991
Abstract Seven new cucurbitacins were isolated from the roots of Picrorhiza kurrooa . On the basis of UV, 1 H, 13 C NMR, 2D 1 H, 1 H- 13 C NMR and mass spectroscopy their structures were determined as 25-(acetyloxy)-2-(β- d -glucopyranosyloxy)-3,16-dihydroxy-9-methyl-19-norlanosta-5,23-dien-22-one, 25-(acetyloxy)-2-(β- d -glucopyranosyloxy)-3,16 ...

Cucurbitacin glycosides from Cabeça-de-negro

Phytochemistry, 1995
Five cucurbitacin glycosides named cabenosides D-L were isolated from 'Cabeça-de-negro', the roots of Caput nigri. Among them, the structures of cabenosides D-H were elucidated as 10 alpha-cucurbit-5-en-11-oxo-3 beta,24R,25-triol-3-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside, 10 alpha-cucurbit-5-en-24-oxo-3 beta, 11 alpha,25-triol-25-O-beta-D- glucopyranosyl, [3,O-beta-D-

Cucurbitacin glucosides fromCitrullus colocynthis

Natural Product Research, 2006
A new cucurbitacin glucoside 2-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-16alpha-20R-dihydroxy-cucurbita-1,5,23E,25(26)-tetraen-3,11,22-trione (1) has been isolated from the methanolic extract of the fruits of Citrulluscolocynthis. The structure has been assigned on the basis of spectral analysis including 1D and 2D NMR techniques.

Simultaneous determination of cucurbitacin B and cucurbitacin E in rat plasma by UHPLC-MS/MS: A pharmacokinetics study after oral administration of cucurbitacin tablets

Journal of Chromatography B, 2017
Cucurbitacin B (CuB) and cucurbitacin E (CuE) are tetracyclic triterpene compounds from Cucurbitaceae, and the main bioactive compounds of cucurbitacins tablets that used to treatment of chronic hepatitis. Pharmacological research has been very comprehensive, and there are few studies on pharmacokinetics, especially about CuE. An Ultra High Performance

Cucurbitacine als stathmokinetische Wirkstoffe

Planta, 1971
A synergism of colchicine and different cucurbitacins has been shown, to be a cause in the formation of ball-metaphases in Bryonia species. The bitter principles cucurbitacin L and I, dihydrocucurbitacin B, and tetrahydrocucurbitacin I, which were examined more closely with respect to their karyological effects, were shown to give rise to C-metaphases ...
