Content of grandiose phenomenology across cultures
Acta Psychiatrica Scandinavica, 1985ABSTRACT– The content of grandiose ideas and delusions in patients of various cultural groups admitted to a London psychiatric hospital were compared. There were no overall differences but certain trends were apparent. It was found that religion was the commonest content of grandiose symptoms in all the groups.

전통적인 상장례의 문화콘텐츠는 주로 스토리텔링과 상엿소리(만가) 등의 음악콘텐츠가 주 연구의 대상이 되어 왔다. 그 밖에도 연극 · 영화 · 드라마 · 희곡 · 애니메이션 등 여러 문화콘텐츠에서도 상장례를 원천자료로 활용하고 있다. 이는 이 분야 연구에서 상장례 문화가 일정 정도 기능할 수 있음을 보여주는 것이라 하겠다. 우리는 죽음에 대한 의미를 인문학적 성찰을 통해 제시할 필요가 있다. 죽음을 제대로 이해하고 자연스럽게 대하는 태도를 갖자는 것이 본고가 지향한 목표이다. 불교 상장례 문화콘텐츠의 전승을 위해서는 연구결과, 첫째, 무형문화의 전승 활성화에 대한 새로운 방안이 모색되어야 한다.
