Compensation of Current Measurement Error for Current-Controlled PMSM Drives

IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, 2012
Accurate measurement of phase current is crucial in a current-controlled permanent-magnet synchronous machine (PMSM) drive system. Current measurement error directly deteriorates torque control performance. This paper analyzes effects of the current measurement error on the phase current and the output voltage of the current controller.

GROSS ERROR IDENTIFICATION IN CURRENT MEASUREMENTS

Electric Machines & Power Systems, 1997
ABSTRACT This paper proposes a parity mismatch based gross error identification scheme for ampere magnitude measurements. In the parity mismatch method, the constant in a given system is calculated using the estimated state and the observed measurement. The gross error in the measurement then propagates through the calculation procedure and indicates a

Savings-investment and the Current Account: More Measurement Error than Identity

Journal of International Money and Finance, 2022
Abstract Econometric estimates of the determinants of current account (im)balances invariably start with the accounting ‘identity’ that the current account is equal to the difference between (national) savings and (national) investment. However, this accounting relationship does not hold in the official data.

The Error Due to the Peltier Effect in Direct-Current Measurements of Resistance

Metrologia, 1973
The recent development of ac bridges for precise resistance determinations has brought on the not altogether unexpected discovery of significant differences between dc and ac measurements. In this article, we discuss one such difference, observed in germanium resistance thermometers, and show that it can be unequivocally ascribed to the Peltier effect,

Analysis of Measurement Error on Impulse Current System

2011 Asia-Pacific Power and Energy Engineering Conference, 2011
Measurement error which is caused by the position of reference ground point and strong electromagnetic interference is introduced in detail. Based on the results, reliable and effective methods for anti-interference, such as surge absorption circuit and floating measurement, were applied to measurement unit.

Error Corrected Microwave Voltage and Current Periodic Waveform Measurements

18th European Microwave Conference, 1988, 1988
A system is described to measure the periodic time domain voltages and currents of a nonlinear microwave device. A vector error correction algorithm is used to take into account and correct the errors caused by imperfect microwave hardware. The system can also be used to yield frequency domain quantities such as the fundamental frequency reflection ...

Measurement Current Transformer Error Compensation by ANN Methodology

Journal of The Institution of Engineers (India): Series B, 2020
Measurement current transformers (MCTs) are an important component in the measurement of electric power. In this era of deregulation, every power distribution company strives for maximum revenue. It could be possible if the errors present in MCTs are reduced.

Errors due to measuring voltage on current-carrying electrodes in electric current computed tomography

IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering, 1990
Electric current computed tomography is a process for determining the distribution of electrical conductivity inside a body based upon measurements of voltage or current made at the body's surface. Most such systems use different electrodes for the application of current and the measurement of voltage.

Experiment and Analysis of Measurement Error of a Wide Range Current Transformer

2021 IEEE International Conference on Power Electronics, Computer Applications (ICPECA), 2021
The range of the load of many users is very large, the rated current of the current transformer for metering is set according to the full load current, and the actual current used may be much larger than the rated current set by the transformer or even more than 200%, which will cause the inaccurate metering of the electricity bill.

Minimizing Errors of Ocean Currents Measured by Electromagnetic Backscatter

IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, 1985
The use of a single HF or microwave radar permits the radial component of the ocean surface current to be mapped for the radar look direction [1, 2]. The azimuthal component of the surface current can also be calculated by invoking the continuity equation for the surface current [3].
