Anti‐CD19 CAR T Cells in Autoimmune Encephalitis: Inflammation Controlled, Neurodegeneration Unchecked?

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Just recently, successful chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy was reported in the first patient with refractory, anti‐diacylglycerol lipase alpha (DAGLA) antibody‐mediated autoimmune encephalitis, achieving partial clinical remission.

Spin current generation and relaxation in a quenched spin-orbit-coupled Bose-Einstein condensate

open access: yesNature Communications, 2019
Spin-orbit coupling is interesting for fundamental understanding of spin transport and quench dynamics. Here the authors demonstrate spin-current generation and its relaxation in spin-orbit-coupled Bose-Einstein condensates of Rb atoms in different spin ...

Non-equilibrium dynamics of an ultracold Bose gas under a multi-pulsed quantum quench in interaction

open access: yes, 2015
We investigate the nonequilibrium dynamical properties of a weakly-interacting Bose gas at zero temperature under the multi-pulsed quantum quench in interaction by calculating one-body, two-body correlation functions and Tan's contact of the model system.

Longitudinal propagation velocity of the normal zone in superconducting wires [PDF]

open access: yes, 1987
The longitudinal propagation of the normal zone in superconducting wires was experimentally investigated in order to evaluate existing analytical expressions which attempt to describe the propagation velocity in a more or less simple manner.

IntelliMIK: a novel intelligent quench detection method for fusion devices

open access: yesNuclear Fusion
The timely and accurate quench detection system is an important guarantee for the safe operation of fusion devices. For the superconducting magnets with rapidly changing current in the fusion device, the core challenge is to compensate for the complex ...

Effect of coupling currents on the dynamic inductance during fast transient in superconducting magnets

open access: yesPhysical Review Special Topics. Accelerators and Beams, 2015
We present electromagnetic models aiming to calculate the variation of the inductance in a magnet due to dynamic effects such as the variation of magnetization or the coupling with eddy currents.

Simulation of the Effect of a Series of Superconducting Magnets on a Quenching Magnet using a Controlled Current Pulse [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
In the LHC, the superconducting corrector magnets will be powered in series of up to 154 magnets. For protection in case of a quench, each magnet has been equipped with a parallel resistor as a bypass for the current.

Revisiting Stability Criteria in Ball‐Milled High‐Entropy Alloys: Do Hume–Rothery and Thermodynamic Rules Equally Apply?

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 27, Issue 6, March 2025.
The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.
