Curvature invariant on noncommutative polyballs

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematics, 2015
In this paper we develop a theory of curvature (resp. multiplicity) invariant for tensor products of full Fock spaces and also for tensor products of symmetric Fock spaces. This is an attempt to find a more general framework for these invariants and extend some of the results obtained by Arveson for the symmetric Fock space, by the author and Kribs for

Curvature Invariants for Statistical Submanifolds of Hessian Manifolds of Constant Hessian Curvature [PDF]

open access: yesMathematics, 2018
We consider statistical submanifolds of Hessian manifolds of constant Hessian curvature. For such submanifolds we establish a Euler inequality and a Chen-Ricci inequality with respect to a sectional curvature of the ambient Hessian manifold.

Anchorage‐independent and faster growth in clonal population from UV‐irradiated NER‐deficient cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
UV‐irradiated cells expressing a DDB2 mutant protein unable to interact with PCNA (DDB2PCNA‐) form clones able to grow without anchorage. Different experimental approaches reveal heterogeneity in cell cycle regulation and drug response within these clones, emphasizing the crucial role of the DDB2‐PCNA interaction in preventing cellular transformation ...

Inequalities for the Casorati Curvature of Statistical Manifolds in Holomorphic Statistical Manifolds of Constant Holomorphic Curvature

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
In this paper, we prove some inequalities in terms of the normalized δ -Casorati curvatures (extrinsic invariants) and the scalar curvature (intrinsic invariant) of statistical submanifolds in holomorphic statistical manifolds with constant ...

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Green's function topology of Majorana wires

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2013
We represent the $\mathbb {Z}_2$ topological invariant characterizing a one-dimensional topological superconductor using a Wess–Zumino–Witten dimensional extension. The invariant is formulated in terms of the single-particle Green's function which allows

All spacetimes with vanishing curvature invariants [PDF]

open access: yesClassical and Quantum Gravity, 2002
All Lorentzian spacetimes with vanishing invariants constructed from the Riemann tensor and its covariant derivatives are determined. A subclass of the Kundt spacetimes results and we display the corresponding metrics in local coordinates. Some potential applications of these spacetimes are discussed.

PARP inhibitors induce a senescence phenotype in non‐small cell lung carcinoma cell lines

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Talazoparib is the most potent inducer of senescence among different PARP1 inhibitors in human NSCLC cells. In the absence of PARP, no senescence phenotype was observed, demonstrating that PARP1 is necessary for the induction of senescence by this inhibitor.

Development of human monoclonal antibodies against TARM1 by yeast display

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Human monoclonal antibodies against TARM1 are generated by yeast display‐guided selection. These antibodies bind to soluble and cell‐surface forms of TARM1. Also, these antibodies exhibit agonistic activity in the NFAT‐GFP reporter assay, indicating that TARM1 signaling can be functionally modulated by antibodies and suggesting TARM1 as a potential ...
