Surface profile prediction and analysis applied to turning process [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
An approach for the prediction of surface profile in turning process using Radial Basis Function (RBF) neural networks is presented. The input parameters of the RBF networks are cutting speed, depth of cut and feed rate.

Cutting tools simulation with different parameter

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering, 2019
Abstract Previous studies have described that micro-devices either with analysis and simulation viewing that micro tools a very central role in micro machines, and microtool geometry has a direct upshot on the value of the last process. Design geometry micro milling tools for was taken from macro tools, where can be assumed that adverse ...

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox

Model of the Effects of Femtosecond Laser Pulse Energy on the Effective Z-Position of the Resulting Cut after Laser-Induced Optical Breakdown

open access: yesPhotonics
Presented in this study is a validated semiempirical model of the effects of femtosecond laser pulse energy on the effective z-position of the resulting cut after laser-induced optical breakdown. Different energy levels (for the same spot spacings, i.e.,
