Abstract The supply of cutting fluid (CF) has numerous positive effects on the cutting process. However, supplying CF to the contact zone at high pressure is associated with a high energy consumption for the pumps. Knowledge of the optimum CF-pressure p therefore offers the potential to optimize cutting processes.

Melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, increasingly affects older adults. Our study reveals that melanoma induces changes in iron and lipid levels in the bone marrow, impacting immune cell populations and increasing susceptibility to ferroptosis.
