Lupus Panniculitis Immunoprofiling Reveals a Cytotoxic, Type 1‐Skewed T‐Cell Response With Signs of Metabolic Alteration

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
Imaging mass cytometry shows lupus panniculitis lesions are dominated by cytotoxic and skin‐homing T cells with abundant macrophages and B‐cell aggregates. Spatial neighborhood analysis reveals organized leukocyte architecture, including B‐cell proximity to naïve T cells and M1 macrophages to cytotoxic T cells.

Serotonin Degradation and Lipid Metabolism Regulate Human Tc2 Cell Effector Functions

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
Human Tc2 cells exhibit a metabolically active phenotype characterized by enhanced glycolysis, mitochondrial respiration, and fatty acid uptake dependent on PPARγ. Alarmins strongly amplify IL‐5 and IL‐13 production in Tc2 cells, supporting a shared immunometabolic program across type 2 lymphocytes.

Cxcl10 and Cxcr3 regulate self-renewal and differentiation of hematopoietic stem cells

open access: yesStem Cell Research & Therapy
Background The function of hematopoietic stem cells (HSC) is regulated by HSC internal signaling pathways and their microenvironment. Chemokines and chemokine ligands play important roles in the regulation of HSC function. Yet, their functions in HSC are

T Cell Microenvironmental Impacts and Therapeutic Opportunities: Application to Human Testicular Germ Cell Tumors

open access: yesAndrology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Testicular germ cell tumors (TGCT) are the leading malignancy in adolescent and young adult males, yet the immunological and cellular mechanisms governing their tumor microenvironment (TME) remain poorly understood. Here, we present a comprehensive review of TGCT pathobiology with a focus on the immune landscape, particularly the role of tumor‐

Therapeutic potential of natural products in cancer immunotherapy: Advances and challenges

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, EarlyView.
This review systematically outlines the mechanisms underlying tumour immunotherapy resistance and elucidates the role of natural products in enhancing therapeutic efficacy as immunomodulatory adjuvants. Abstract Immunotherapy has emerged as a clinically pivotal approach in cancer treatment, but its application remains limited to a small subset of ...

Immune checkpoint inhibitor‐induced arrhythmias: Mechanistic insights from clinical and preclinical studies

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, EarlyView.
Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have transformed cancer therapy, but their efficacy continues to be limited by immune‐related adverse events. Among these, ICI‐induced cardiac arrhythmias are increasingly recognised as a major adverse reaction, encompassing a broad spectrum of clinical phenotypes, including conduction blocks, atrial fibrillation and

CXCR3 inhibitors for therapeutic interventions: current status and perspectives

open access: yesFrontiers in Pharmacology
CXC chemokine receptor 3 (CXCR3) is a G protein-coupled chemokine receptor that plays a key role in regulating immune responses and is involved in various pathological processes, particularly in tumor development and inflammatory diseases, making it a ...

The CXC Chemokine Receptor 3 Inhibits Autoimmune Cholangitis via CD8+ T Cells but Promotes Colitis via CD4+ T Cells

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology, 2018
CXC chemokine receptor 3 (CXCR3), a receptor for the C-X-C motif chemokines (CXCL) CXCL9, CXCL10, and CXCL11, which not only plays a role in chemotaxis but also regulates differentiation and development of memory and effector T cell populations.

A cDC1‐NK/T‐Malignant Cell Circuit Drives Immunogenic Remodeling Under PD‐1 Blockade in Gastric Cancer

open access: yesCancer Science, EarlyView.
Chemotherapy combined with nivolumab reshapes the gastric cancer tumor microenvironment (TME) and is accompanied by an enrichment of reduced cytotoxicity NK (RC‐NK) cells. Rather than acting as classical cytotoxic effectors, these RC‐NK cells appear to shape the TME by promoting an immunostimulatory circuit that engages adaptive immunity.
