Targeting KDM3B Elicits Anti‐tumor Immunity by Alleviating SHP1–mediated STING Suppression in Triple–Negative Breast Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
P3FI–90 treatment targets KDM3B, reshapes the epigenetic landscape, and suppresses SHP1 expression, thereby activating STING–TBK1–IRF3–type I IFN signaling pathway. Consequently, CD8+ T cells are recruited to the tumor site and activated to produce IFN–γ and GZMB, leading to the killing of TNBC cells.

Cyclic GMP protects human macrophages against peroxynitrite-induced apoptosis

open access: yesJournal of Inflammation, 2009
Background Nitric oxide (NO) can be both pro- and anti-apoptotic in various cell types, including macrophages. This apparent paradox may result from the actions of NO-related species generated in the microenvironment of the cell, for example the ...

Cyclic GMP System in Epidermis: I. Effect of Ischemia

open access: yes, 1979
When keratome-sliced pig epidermis was floated on Hank's balanced salt solution, we observed a rapid decrease in the intracellular level of cyclic GMP. A portion of the lost cyclic GMP was detected in the incubation medium. When the epidermis was kept in

Synergistic Remodeling of Tumor Immune Microenvironment via a DNA Nanodevice Integrating STING Activation and Lysosome‐Targeted PD‐L1 Degradation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A rational design DNA nanoplatform not only achieves efficient PD‐L1 degradation but also triggers robust STING signaling. The nanodevice effectively reprograms “cold” tumors, leading to potent inhibition of tumor growth and metastasis in vivo. ABSTRACT The cGAS‐STING pathway is a cornerstone of innate antitumor immunity; however, its therapeutic ...

Co-Delivery of Gemcitabine and Paclitaxel in cRGD-Modified Long Circulating Nanoparticles with Asymmetric Lipid Layers for Breast Cancer Treatment

open access: yesMolecules, 2018
Combination chemotherapy is a common clinical practice in cancer treatment. Here, cyclic RGD (arginylglycylaspartic acid) peptide was introduced to the surface of lipid/calcium/phosphate (LCP) asymmetric lipid layer nanoparticles for the co-delivery of ...

Peroxynitrite stimulates vascular smooth muscle cell cyclic GMP synthesis

open access: yes, 1995
Peroxynitrite stimulated the synthesis of cyclic GMP by rat aortic smooth muscle in a time- and dose-dependent manner. Peak formation of cyclic GMP occurred at 1 min with 100 μM peroxynitrite and was inhibited by oxyhemoglobin.

Leonurine Ameliorates Doxorubicin‐Induced Cardiotoxicity via STING/NF‐κB/NLRP3 Inflammasome Signaling Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Doxorubicin‐induced cardiomyopathy (DIC) remains a dose‐limiting clinical challenge. This study reveals that cardiac vascular endothelial cells (CVECs) act as initial sensors of doxorubicin cardiotoxicity: circulating doxorubicin activates the cGAS‑STING pathway in CVECs, triggering NLRP3 inflammasome‑mediated pyroptosis and release of ...

Calcium induces cyclic GMP formation in Dictyostelium

open access: yes, 1986
Cyclic GMP is rapidly formed a few seconds after binding of chemotactic signalling molecules to specific receptors on the cell surface of Dictyostelium amoebae.

A Dual‐Phase Exosomal Nanotherapy Enhances Continual Efferocytosis by Coordinating Checkpoint Inhibition and Metabolic Reprogramming in Atherosclerosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Here we developed Am@SExo, a dual‐functional engineered exosome that coordinates CD47–SIRPα checkpoint blockade with Arg1 mRNA–mediated metabolic reprogramming. Surface SIRPα promotes recognition of apoptotic cells and plaque targeting, while Arg1 expression enhances arginine–ornithine metabolism, Rac1 activation, and actin remodeling in macrophages ...
