Cyclic phosphines and arsines. IV. Perfluoroalkyl-substituted cyclic phosphines

Australian Journal of Chemistry, 1972
Diiodopentafluoroethylphosphine and iodobispentafluoroethylphosphine have been prepared. Reaction of these compounds with silver chloride and silver cyanide leads to replacement of the iodide to give chloro and cyano phosphines. Reaction of RPI2 (R = CBF5, C3F7) with mercury gives the cyclic phosphine (PR)4,5.

Asymmetric Cyclic Phosphorothonamides Containing Substituted Pyridine

Phosphorus, Sulfur, and Silicon and the Related Elements, 2006
In order to find high-acitivity and low-toxicity pesticidal lead compounds, a type of novel, asymmetric cyclic phosphorothonamides containing substituted pyridine were synthesized via the condensation reactions of 2-chloro-4-substitutedphenyl-5,5-dimethyl-1,3,2-dioxaphosphinane 2-sulfide with 3-aminomethylpyridine.

ARYLPHENYL-SUBSTITUTED CYCLIC KETO-ENOLS

1999
The invention relates to new arylphenyl-substituted cyclic keto-enols of the formula (I), where X is halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, alkenyloxy, alkylthio, alkyl sulfinyl, alkyl sulfonyl, halogen alkyl, halogen alkoxy, halogen alkenyloxy, nitro, cyano, or a phenyl, phenoxy, phenylthio, phenylalkoxy or phenylalkylthio which each can possibly be substituted; Y ...

Tip-substituted cage and cyclic silanols

Journal of Organometallic Chemistry, 2003
Abstract Synthesis of novel cage and cyclic silanols bearing Tip (2,4,6-triisopropylphenyl) groups was performed. Tip-substituted silanetriol, TipSi(OH)3 (1) was prepared from TipSiCl3, and can be handled without special care in the air. The versatility of this silanol is amply demonstrated as a starting material of various silanols with novel ...

Substituted cyclic imides as potential anti-gout agents

Life Sciences, 1990
N-substituted cyclic imides of phthalimide, 2,3-dihydrohalazine-1,4-dione, and diphenimide were shown to reduce the serum uric acid levels in normal and hyperuric mice at 20 mg/kg/day I.P. for 14 days. The agents were potent inhibitors of commercial xanthine dehydrogenase and xanthine oxidase enzyme activities with IC50 values from 10(-7) to 10(-8) M ...

Explicit cyclic substitutions

1993
In this paper we consider rewrite systems that describe the λ-calculus enriched with recursive and non-recursive local definitions by generalizing the lsexplicit substitutions’ used by Abadi, Cardelli, Curien, and Levy [1] to describe sharing in λ-terms.

New Types of Functionally Substituted Cyclic Phosphoranes

Phosphorus, Sulfur, and Silicon and the Related Elements, 1992
Abstract Dialkoxymethyl- and α -carbonylphosphoni-tes are the key compounds for the synthesis of new types of functionally substituted cyclic phosphoranes.

Efficient Synthesis of Substituted Cyclic α-Aminophosphonates

Synthesis, 2009
The addition of diethyl phosphite to cyclic imines bearing alkyl, aryl, or heteroaryl substituents at the α-position in diethyl ether at room temperature presents an efficient route to substituted cyclic α-aminophosphonates. The application of boron trifluoridediethyl ether complex as a catalyst significantly accelerates the reaction.

Synthesis of trifluoromethyl-substituted cyclic compounds

Journal of Fluorine Chemistry, 1992
Abstract Study of trifluoromethyl-substituted 5- and 6-membered cyclic compounds is worthwhile owing to the widespread presence of such rings in natural products. Moreover this fluorinated group can induce modified physical and biological properties.
