Elevated exogenous palmitic acid promotes the S‐palmitoylation of SRPK1 in endothelial cells, a dynamic process governed by ZDHHC24 and APT1. This post‐translational modification strengthens the interaction between SRPK1 and the E3 ubiquitin ligase MIB1, thereby facilitating the proteasomal degradation of SRPK1.

Disruption of cyclin D1 degradation leads to the development of mantle cell lymphoma
Cyclin D1 has been recognized as an oncogene due to its abnormal upregulation in different types of cancers. Here, we demonstrated that cyclin D1 is SUMOylated, and we identified Itch as a specific E3 ligase recognizing SUMOylated cyclin D1 and mediating

Germ‐free (GF) mice receiving fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) reveal microbiota‐dependent effects on auditory aging. Integrated metagenomic, metabolomic and proteomic profiling maps gut–inner ear network and highlights 5‐hydroxytryptophan (5‐HTP) as a microbiota‐linked metabolic hub in age‐related hearing loss (ARHL).

β-TrCP- and Casein Kinase II-Mediated Degradation of Cyclin F Controls Timely Mitotic Progression
Summary: Orderly progressions of events in the cell division cycle are necessary to ensure the replication of DNA and cell division. Checkpoint systems allow the accurate execution of each cell-cycle phase.

KDM4A Erases the H3R17me2a Mark, Facilitating Chromosome Condensation
This study reveals a reversible histone modification switch governing chromosome condensation during mitosis. PKCα‐activated KDM4A removes H3R17me2a, permitting Suv39h1‐driven H3K9me3 deposition. This epigenetic transition recruits the chromosomal passenger complex and triggers Aurora B‐dependent H3S10 phosphorylation, coordinating chromatin remodeling

NuSAP Safeguards Centriole Integrity to Mediate CEP57‐CEP152 Torus Recruitment for Proper Engagement
This study reveals a novel role for the microtubule stabilizer NuSAP at centrioles. NuSAP depletion destabilizes the centriole's tubulin structure, causing premature disengagement, PCM defects, and mis‐localization of the CEP57‐CEP63‐CEP152 complex. By reinforcing centriole architecture, NuSAP enables early CEP57 loading and initiates a newly proposed ...

Summary: Overexpression of Cyclin E1 perturbs DNA replication, resulting in DNA lesions and genomic instability. Consequently, Cyclin E1-overexpressing cancer cells increasingly rely on DNA repair, including RAD52-mediated break-induced replication ...

Brucine Inhibits the Proliferation of Human Lung Cancer Cell Line PC-9 via Arresting Cell Cycle
Background and objective It has been proven that Cyclin D1 and Cyclin E are the important positive regulators of cell cycle, they are closely related to the tumor proliferation. The aim of this study is to explore the relationship between Brucine and the

Substrate recruitment to cyclin-dependent kinase 2 by a multipurpose docking site on cyclin A
An important question in the cell cycle field is how cyclin-dependent kinases (cdks) target their substrates. We have studied the role of a conserved hydrophobic patch on the surface of cyclin A in substrate recognition by cyclin A-cdk2.
