Cobalt‐Mediated [3+1] Fragmentation of White Phosphorus: Access to Acylcyanophosphanides

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 136, Issue 6, February 5, 2024.
White phosphorus (P4) can be selectively activated and functionalized via low‐valent cobalt complexes. Subsequent treatment of the acylated P4 ligands with cyanide induces a rare [3+1] fragmentation and yields cyanophosphanides (P1) and triphosphido cobaltate (P3).

Shikimic Acid Inhibits Osteoclastogenesis in Vivo and in Vitro by Blocking RANK/TRAF6 Association and Suppressing NF-κB and MAPK Signaling Pathways

open access: yesCellular Physiology and Biochemistry, 2018
Background/Aims: Bone homeostasis is associated with the balance between bone-resorbing osteoclasts and bone-forming osteoblasts. Unbalanced bone homeostasis as a result of reduced osteogenesis or excessive osteoclastogenesis can lead to disorders such ...

Spring nitrogen and plant growth regulator effects on seed yield of orchardgrass

open access: yesCrop Science, Volume 64, Issue 6, Page 3533-3540, November/December 2024.
Abstract Orchardgrass (Dactylis glomerata L.) is an important forage seed crop, but unlike other cool‐season grasses, seed yields have not increased over time. Seed yield increases in orchardgrass may be possible with plant growth regulators (PGRs) such as trinexapac‐ethyl (TE) and chlormequat chloride (CCC).

Prophylactic tranexamic acid for reducing blood loss in pregnant females undergoing cesarean section: A systematic review and meta‐analysis

open access: yesJournal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Research, Volume 50, Issue 9, Page 1439-1458, September 2024.
Abstract Objective We aim to assess the efficacy of prophylactic tranexamic acid (TXA) in reducing blood loss after cesarean section (CS). Methods We systematically searched PubMed and Embase for randomized controlled trials published between 1990 and 2023 to conduct a meta‐analysis on adult women undergoing CS and receiving prophylactic TXA.

The Itinerant Position of Yttrium as Evidenced by Carboxylic Acid Extractions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The rare-earth elements Y and La-Lu share many similar physical and chemical properties. These similarities are reflected by the difficulty in the complete separation of the rare earths, often requiring hundreds to thousands of stages for the production ...
