The role of Moringa oleifera in the development of alternative biofuels, under the concept of an integral one‐tree biorefinery: A minireview

open access: yesBiofuels, Bioproducts and Biorefining, EarlyView.
Abstract The Moringa oleifera oil tree is commonly known as the ‘tree of life’ or the ‘miracle tree’ owing to its multiple benefits for humans. The different parts that make up this tree (leaves, seeds and bark) have been used to treat various ailments, diseases and wounds. However, in recent years this tree is being used by the scientific community to

Preparation of a Multifunctional Polymer‐Stabilized Cholesteric Liquid Crystal Broadband Reflective Film Doped With ZIF‐8

open access: yesBattery Energy, EarlyView.
In this study, cholesteric liquid crystal broadband reflective films were prepared by incorporating a novel ZIF‐8 UV absorber. Polymer‐stabilized cholesteric liquid crystals doped with ZIF‐8 exhibit good UV shielding, infrared thermal control, and third‐order nonlinear inverse saturation absorption.

Green Recovery of Toxic Prussian White Cathode From Spent All‐Climate Sodium‐Ion Batteries Using Low‐Melting Mixture Solvents (LoMMSs)

open access: yesBattery Energy, EarlyView.
Mild, green, and efficient recovery of toxic and hazardous Prussian white cathode from all‐climate sodium‐ion batteries could be achieved by green low‐melting mixture solvents (LoMMSs) polyethylene glycol 200:phytic acid with different mole ratios with low cost and high biodegradability. ABSTRACT A large number of spent sodium‐ion batteries (SIBs) will
