Multifunctional Nano Immunostimulant: Overcoming Immunosuppressive Microenvironment for Antitumor Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A multifunctional nano immunostimulant is first proposed for efficient tumor immunotherapy. The ER targeted ability, superior ROS production, efficient GSH consumption, coupled with the HIF suppression, jointly arouses ICD/ferroptosis pathways to realize efficient tumor immunotherapy.

Cysteine Protease from Primrose (Primula vulgaris)

open access: yes, 2012
Proteases are enzymes that perform important functions in organisms and are used for a variety of objectives in vitro. In recent years, proteases have been used for clinical, pharmaceutical (alimentary digestion, antiinflammatory, etc.) and industrial applications (cheese production, meat tenderizing, leather tanning).

The Gut Commensal Butyricimonas Virosa Modulates Gut Microbiota‐Dependent Thiamine Metabolism and Attenuates Mouse Steatotic Liver Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals that dietary stachyose enriches Butyricimonas virosa, effectively attenuating metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). Mechanistically, B. virosa enhances gut thiamine monophosphate synthesis, which elevates hepatic thiamine pyrophosphate levels.

Interleukin‐18 signaling promotes activation of hepatic stellate cells in mouse liver fibrosis

open access: yesHepatology, EarlyView., 2022
Interleukin‐18 signaling promotes activation of hepatic stellate cells in mouse liver fibrosis. Abstract Background and Aims Nucleotide‐binding oligomerization domain‐like receptor‐family pyrin domain‐containing 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome activation has been shown to result in liver fibrosis.

Development of Dimethylsulfonium Probes for Broad Profiling of Methyllysine Reader Proteins

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Development of oligoglycine‐based dimethylsulfonium probes for unbiased crosslinking to methyllysine readers. The general probe facilitates profiling of site‐specific methyllysine readers, evaluation of selectivity and activity of reader inhibitors, and global profiling of methyllysine readers.
