Looking back on the changes in the conceptualization of micturition and the development of cystometry, it is reasonable to arrive at several conclusions. Considering their poor technical equipment, Budge's and Goltz's neurophysiologic observations in the 19th century were impressive.

We have developed a telemetric monitoring cytometry method of our own. Our telemetric cystometrograms were compared with regular cystometrograms in 4 patients. From these investigations, we concluded that wireless data transmission in urodynamics enables us to obtain more information on the intravesical pressure changes and to evaluate the patient’s ...

Cystometry provides crucial information on which therapy for voiding dysfunction is predicated. The technique of cystometry can be altered to address specific clinical questions; however, the goal of the study is to reproduce the clinical situation being investigated. Specific areas remain to be clarified, including the estimation and interpretation of

Abstract Cystometry, a clinical test for assessment of detrusor function, may be used as a supplement to history and physical examination in patients with neurologic dysfunction of the urinary bladder. The test is based on the implicit assumption that the detrusor reflex response is a necessary prerequisite to efficient voiding.
