Abstract The concentration of cytidine monophosphate (CMP) in lung tissue was found to increase during rabbit lung development from 12 nmol/g of tissue on day 23 of gestation to 52 nmol/g in the adult. The concentrations of cytidine triphosphate in lung tissue decreased from 113 nmol/g of tissue on day 23 to 63 nmol/g of tissue in the adult.
