Coelomocyte cytoskeletons Interaction with cytochalasin B
Experimental Cell Research, 1980Abstract Cytochalasin B (CB) quickly distorts the gross morphology of sea urchin petaloid coelomocytes at low (0.1 μg/ml) concentrations and inhibits the cell's ability to morphologically transform to the filopodial form. Neither the ultrastructure nor the biochemical components of these cells are altered during these initial effects.

Cellular binding of 3H‐cytochalasin B
Journal of Cellular Physiology, 1974AbstractThe binding of tritium‐labelled cytochalasin B (3H‐CB) to a variety of mammalian cells was investigated. Binding studies revealed near‐equilibrium binding of 3H‐CB within 5 to 10 minutes, but the equilibrium level was influenced by 3H‐CB concentration. Binding kinetics revealed strong temperature dependence.
