Evidence that isoniazid and ethanol induce the same microsomal cytochrome P-450 in rat liver, an isozyme homologous to rabbit liver cytochrome P-450 isozyme 3a [PDF]
Cytochrome P-450j has been purified to electrophoretic homogeneity from hepatic microsomes of adult male rats administered ethanol and compared to the corresponding enzyme from isoniazid-treated rats.

Ru–Mn composite nanozymes are engineered to mimic dual‐enzyme cascade catalysis, enabling efficient ROS clearance and neuroinflammation suppression. In collagenase‐ and autologous blood‐induced ICH mouse models, intranasal and intravenous administration reduced hematoma volume, preserved BBB integrity, and improved neurological recovery.

Varijabilnosti u učinku lijeka mogu se djelomično objasniti genetičkim razlikama. Postoje interindividualne razlike u metaboličkom itransportnom kapacitetu i detoksikaciji lijekova i drugih ksenobiotika. Osjetljivost na toksične učinke jednim dijelom ovisi ogenetičkom polimorfi zmu metaboličkih enzima faze I. i faze II.

ABSTRACT The muscle capsule of Trichinella is a critical structure that impedes immune attacks and drug penetration, yet the molecular mechanisms underlying its formation remain poorly understood. Using a high‐quality super‐pangenome comprising 12 Trichinella species, we compared extensive genomic variations between encapsulating and non‐encapsulating ...

Glioblastoma (GBM) exhibits RFX7 silencing via promoter hypermethylation, which downregulates PIK3IP1 to activate PI3K/AKT signaling, increase lactate accumulation, and enhance histone H4K12 lactylation. This lactylation upregulates PD‐L1/CSF1 expression and drives the immunosuppressive microenvironment formation.

ABSTRACT Iron overload is a common metabolic disturbance in cancer and contributes to poor outcomes in renal cell carcinoma (RCC), yet its effects on the tumour immune microenvironment remain unclear. Here we identify a previously unrecognized immunosuppressive axis in which iron overload downregulates the palmitoyltransferase ZDHHC12 in CD8+ T cells ...

Ferritinophagy Rewires Carnitine‐Dependent Lipid Metabolism to Inhibit PRRSV and IAV Replication
NCOA4‐mediated ferritinophagy reprograms carnitine metabolism by disrupting Fe‐S cluster biogenesis, thereby establishing an iron‐lipid axis that suppresses various viruses, including PRRSV and IAV. However, viruses counteract this mechanism by degrading NCOA4.
