ESG Performance and Credit Risk: Evidence From Chinese Manufacturing Companies
ABSTRACT This study investigates the effect of corporate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance on credit risk using a sample of manufacturing firms listed on China's Shanghai and Shenzhen A‐share markets from 2009 to 2021. Employing fixed effects, the generalised method of moments, and instrumental variable models, we find that ...

Two Hla‐targeting monoclonal antibodies (Hm0399, Hm0411) were isolated from rFSAV‐vaccinated volunteers. Their cocktail (Hm3‐4) showed synergistic anti‐S. aureus activity. Hm0411 blocks Hla‐receptor binding via salt bridges; Hm0399 potentiates Fc effector functions through hydrogen bonds.

Constraining calcium isotope fractionation (δ44/40Ca) in modern and fossil scleractinian coral skeleton [PDF]
The present study investigates the influence of environmental (temperature, salinity) and biological (growth rate, inter-generic variations) parameters on calcium isotope fractionation (δ44/40Ca) in scleractinian coral skeleton to better constrain this record.

SUMMARY Many responses of plants to UV‐B radiation are mediated by the UVR8 photoreceptor. UVR8 functions by interacting directly with various proteins. In particular, binding of transcription factors to UVR8 modifies their ability to regulate sets of genes involved in specific responses to UV‐B.

Calcium and Multi‐Isotope Constraints on Cation Exchange in Groundwater
Abstract Cation exchange is one of the most important processes in water‐rock interaction in the presence of clay minerals, with a common Ca‐Mg‐Na exchange system. However, systematic verification of Ca isotopes for tracing cation exchange in natural environments is lacking due to overlapping factors, such as dissolution‐precipitation of Ca‐minerals ...

ABSTRACT Industrial pollution governance and the strengthening of agricultural resilience are typically pursued in parallel rather than in coordination. This study argues that the digital‐green collaborative transformation (DGCT) of heavily polluting enterprises can enhance agricultural economic resilience (AER) through cross‐sector spillover effects ...

Fecal Material of Captive Wild Animals as Source of CAZymes With Application Potential
With the goal to identify a novel resource of enzymes, we tested for the potential of fecal metagenomes of captive wild animals to provide CAZymes. Our data show that CAZymes profiles differed between animals with varying gut physiology and diet, and that metagenomes of captive wild animals can be considered source of diverse CAZymes including rare and

Mg isotope fractionation during microbial dolomite formation in the Khor Al‐Adaid sabkha, Qatar
Modern sabkha sediments from southern Qatar show ca. 1‰ Ca isotope fractionation between pore water, organic matter and dolomite, supporting microbial mediation. In contrast, minimal Mg isotope fractionation and inorganic‐like dolomite δ26Mg indicate that microbial influence is indirect, expressed through subtle pore water shifts driven by Mg ...
