Two new species of Monopisthocotyla (Dactylogyridea: Dactylogyridae) parasitizing the nasal cavities of Bryconops melanurus (Characiformes: Iguanodectidae) from coastal drainages of the Eastern Amazon, Brazil

Zootaxa
The present study integrates molecular and morphological data to support the proposal of new species of Telethecium Kritsky, Van Every & Boeger, 1996 and Diaphorocleidus Jogunoori, Kritsky & Venkatanarasaiah, 2004 from the nasal cavities of Bryconops melanurus (Bloch) of the coastal drainages of the Eastern Amazon. Telethecium tiquira sp. n. is

[Dactylogyrids (Monogenea: Dactylogyridea) with an unusual number of anchors, their origin and phylogenetic significance. Reference data].

Parazitologiia, 2002
It is considered that in Anacanthorinae, Markewitschiana and Pseudacolpenteron pavlovskii (Dactylogyridae s. s.) the anchors are absent originally. In the other dactylogyrids (s. l.) without anchors (Pseudacolpenteron ignotus; Acolpenteron; Anonchohaptor-Icelanchohaptor; Kritskyia-Telethecium-Pavanelliela) these structures are lost.

[Dactylogyrids (Monogenea: Dactylogyridea) with unusual number of the anchors, their origin and phylogenetic significance. Original data].

Parazitologiia, 2002
The haptors Dactylogyrus spp., Anacanthorus sp., Trianchoratus sp. and Schilbetrematoides pseudodactylogyrus are investigated. On the base of the morphology, transfer of the domus, etc. a homology of the hooks in dactylogyrids (s. s.) and the pin-like structures (4 "A") in the haptor of Anacanthorinae and Dactylogyridae sensu Bychowsky et Nagibina ...

A Neural Network Algorithm for Identifying Monogeneans of the Order Dactylogyridea
