Carrier Blocking Layer Materials and Application in Organic Photodetectors

open access: yesNanomaterials, 2021
As a promising candidate for next-generation photodetectors, organic photodetectors (OPDs) have gained increasing interest as they offer cost-effective fabrication methods using solution processes and a tunable spectral response range, making them ...

Significant Suppression of Dark Current in a Surface Acoustic Wave Assisted MoS2 Photodetector

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, 2023
2D materials are considered as potential candidates for the next generation of optoelectronic materials. However, their optical absorption is typically weak due to thickness limitations, greatly restricting the photodetection capabilities of devices.

High Performance p-i-n Photodetectors on Ge-on-Insulator Platform

open access: yesNanomaterials, 2021
In this article, we demonstrated novel methods to improve the performance of p-i-n photodetectors (PDs) on a germanium-on-insulator (GOI). For GOI photodetectors with a mesa diameter of 10 μm, the dark current at −1 V is 2.5 nA, which is 2.6-fold lower ...

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Dark currents for CEBAF linacs [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings Particle Accelerator Conference, 2002
Continuing on our numerical study [1] of field emitted electrons from a superconducting CEBAF cavity we have identified all possible emission sites, magnitudes, and the energy profile of dark currents expected at CEBAF under nominal operating conditions.

From mice to humans—divergent strategies for intestinal homeostasis and regeneration

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Recent advances such as organoid genome editing, xenotransplantation, imaging, and whole‐genome sequencing have enabled direct studies of human intestinal stem cells (ISCs). These studies reveal species‐specific features, including slower ISC proliferation, distinct injury responses, slower somatic mutation accumulation in humans, and an inverse ...

A High-Performance 2.5 μm Charge Domain Global Shutter Pixel and Near Infrared Enhancement with Light Pipe Technology

open access: yesSensors, 2020
We developed a new 2.5 μm global shutter (GS) pixel using a 65 nm process with an advanced light pipe (LP) structure. This is the world’s smallest charge domain GS pixel reported so far.

Phenomenology of dark tensor currents

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2023
Abstract In this work we suggest a dark mediator model which extends the usual U(1) Lagrangian by including new degrees of freedom coupling to Standard Model fermions. Such dark particles can contribute to the neutral pion decay. For interaction constant and the dark particle mass consistent with the observed anomalies in the nuclear ...
