Generating the Dark Matter mass from the QCD vacuum: A new approach to the Dark Matter-Baryon coincidence problem [PDF]
The comparable abundances of dark matter and baryons imply a deep connection between the dark sector and the QCD sector. In models of asymmetric dark matter, the number densities of both sectors are ensured to be similar. However, a complete solution should also include a mechanism for comparable masses.

Overexpression of CHRDL2 in colon cancer cells makes them more stem‐like and resistant to chemo‐ and radiotherapy. CHRDL2‐high cells have upregulation of the WNT pathway, genes involved in the DNA damage response (DDR) pathway and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT). This leads to quicker repair of damaged DNA and more cell migration.
