Enhanced Activities of OCT4 and SOX2 Promote Epigenetic Reprogramming by Shortening G1 Phase. [PDF]
Adv Sci (Weinh)Fusing the VP16 domain to OCT4 and SOX2 (OvSvK) enhances iPSC generation by activating downstream targets, including those regulating the cell cycle. This accelerates reprogramming by shortening the G1 phase and reducing H3K27me3 levels. Modulating Ccnd1, Cdkn2a, and Ccne1 improves efficiency, linking cell cycle to epigenetic remodeling.
