Molecular Interplay of PARN and Telomerase: Tail Modifiers and Disease Implications
Schematic representation of the molecular interplay between PARN, telomerase‐associated, and the involvement of p53 in regulating telomere maintenance and genome stability. The top panel shows how normal PARN levels are involved in regulating p53 levels and balanced telomerase activity through their regulatory interaction with TERC and TERRA, thus ...

Cucumber green mottle mosaic virus: A persistent seed‐borne threat to cucurbits
Cucumber green mottle mosaic virus (CGMMV) is a highly stable, seed‐borne tobamovirus that threatens global cucurbit production. Its efficient mechanical and seed transmission, long‐term environmental persistence, and the spread of Clade II CGMMV isolates drive its rapid dissemination and cause severe yield losses.

The Role of Long Noncoding RNAs in Modulation of Stress Granules in Cancer
ABSTRACT Stress granules are dynamic cellular structures that arise in response to stress. They play an important role in cancer cell survival by modulating multiple stress responses. Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been identified as crucial regulators of stress granule (SG) dynamics, influencing cancer development and treatment resistance. LncRNAs

Caspase-mediated DDX46 cleavage unchains antiviral immunity
DEAD/H-box RNA helicases are critical regulators of host antiviral innate immunity. In this study, we utilized an RNA-binding protein knockout sub-library to identify DDX46, a member of the DEAD/H-box RNA helicase family, as an essential proviral host ...

Decoding GUN1 in plastid‐to‐nucleus signaling: what it doesn't, what it does, and why it matters
Publication history of plant GUN1 research. Summary Plastid‐to‐nucleus retrograde signaling coordinates nuclear gene expression with the developmental and physiological state of plastids. GENOMES UNCOUPLED 1 (GUN1), a chloroplast‐localized PPR‐SMR protein, remains a central yet poorly understood component of this network.

Helicase protein DDX11 as a novel antiviral factor promoting RIG-I-MAVS-mediated signaling pathway
Type Ι interferon (IFN) production mediated by retinoic acid-inducible gene 1 (RIG-I) and mitochondrial antiviral signaling protein (MAVS) is essential for antiviral innate immune responses.

A Constellation of Fluorescent Biosensors to Illuminate the Galaxy of Protein Kinases
Protein kinases (PKs) are enzymes that catalyze phosphorylation of protein substrates involved in a wide variety of biological signalling pathways. This review describes the different families and mechanisms of action and regulation of protein kinases, together with the different classes of fluorescent biosensors that have been engineered and ...
