On algebraic time-derivative estimation and deadbeat state reconstruction [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
This note places into perspective the so-called algebraic time-derivative estimation method recently introduced by Fliess and co-authors with standard results from linear state-space theory for control systems.

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

Wide Frequency PWM Rectifier Control System Based on Improved Deadbeat Direct Power Control

open access: yesWorld Electric Vehicle Journal, 2022
The precision of deadbeat direct power control depends on the parameters of the system model. In wide frequency applications, such as multi- electric aircraft and electric vehicles, variations in frequency and resistive parameters will affect the control

Oversampled deadbeat current control strategy for PMSM drives [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
This paper presents a novel deadbeat current control approach for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSMs) drives capable of operating at a controller sampling frequency multiple of the power converter switching frequency.

Optimal ripple-free deadbeat controllers

open access: yesInternational Journal of Control, 1998
A ripple-free deadbeat controller for a system exists if and only if there are no transmission zeros coinciding with the poles of the reference signal. Approaches to this problem often use the Diophantine equation solution. However, solutions provided by the Diophantine equation often exhibit extremely bad transient responses. This approach gives a new

Reduced vascular leakage correlates with breast carcinoma T regulatory cell infiltration but not with metastatic propensity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A mouse model for vascular normalization and a human breast cancer cohort were studied to understand the relationship between vascular leakage and tumor immune suppression. For this, endothelial and immune cell RNAseq, staining for vascular function, and immune cell profiling were employed.

Optimal co-design of control, scheduling and routing in multi-hop control networks

open access: yes, 2012
A Multi-hop Control Network consists of a plant where the communication between sensors, actuators and computational units is supported by a (wireless) multi-hop communication network, and data flow is performed using scheduling and routing of sensing ...

Improving PARP inhibitor efficacy in bladder cancer without genetic BRCAness by combination with PLX51107

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Clinical trials on PARP inhibitors in urothelial carcinoma (UC) showed limited efficacy and a lack of predictive biomarkers. We propose SLFN5, SLFN11, and OAS1 as UC‐specific response predictors. We suggest Talazoparib as the better PARP inhibitor for UC than Olaparib.
