Robust decoupling control synthesis
2014 American Control Conference, 2014The control of multivariable industrial processes is frequently performed using a multiloop configuration, in which several PID controllers are committed to control different channels of the plant. A difficulty with such a strategy arises due to the interaction among the control loops, which may cause the control action in a loop to give rise to ...

Decoupled droop control of inverters
IECON 2013 - 39th Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2013This article first reviews the droop control method for inverters participating in low voltage microgrids, discussing static and dynamic response. Then the paper proposes a droop controller that brings independent actuation of frequency over active power and voltage over reactive power.

Generalization of decoupling control
IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 1974This correspondence develops sufficient conditions for decoupling of an r -input m -output multivariable control system via control law with a rectangular feedforward matrix. A synthesis example of the decoupling control system is given and studied.

Decoupled fuzzy sliding-mode control
IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, 1998A decoupled fuzzy sliding-mode controller design is proposed. The decoupled method provides a simple way to achieve asymptotic stability for a class of fourth-order nonlinear systems with only five fuzzy control rules. The ideas behind the controller are as follows. First, decouple the whole system into two second-order systems such that each subsystem

Optimal and suboptimal decoupling controllers
2012 5th International Symposium on Communications, Control and Signal Processing, 2012The problem of decoupling a linear system by dynamic compensation into multi-input multi-output subsystems is studied. The set of all controllers that decouple and stabilize the system is determined in a parametric form. Optimal and suboptimal decoupling controllers are then obtained by an appropriate selection of the parameters.

DISTURBANCE DECOUPLING ADAPTIVE CONTROL
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1987Abstract With feedforward and disturbance decoupling control, cancellation of disturbance influences on the output is desired. Several adaptive schemes for implementing this are discussed. It is found that adaptive control based on explicit criterion minimization is a very attractive alternative.

Stereo visual servoing with decoupling control
2012 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems, 2012In this paper, we present a new stereo visual servoing (SVS) with decoupling properties. The proposed approach is not related to the position-based nor image-based categories as the state vectors are built from the two-view affine geometry and the visual measurements.

AUTO-TUNING OF MULTIVARIABLE DECOUPLING CONTROLLERS
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1991Abstract Controller parameters for multivariable systems with interacting loops are difficult to tune. However, using feedforward compensators or decouplers, the interaction can be appropriately compensated so that effective non-interacting single-input/single-output processes are obtained.

LPV decoupling for control of multivariable systems
International Journal of Control, 2011This article investigates methods for decoupling multivariable linear parameter varying (LPV) systems and proposes a new interaction measure for decoupled proportional-integral (PI) feedback control design in LPV systems. The proposed approach seeks to benefit the multivariable control of multi-input multi-output (MIMO) systems with variable operating ...
