Inter‐Atomic Synergy on Single‐Atom Alloy Promotes Cyclohexanone Oxime Electrosynthesis
Electrosynthesis of cyclohexanone oxime using renewable electricity offers a greener alternative to traditional energy‐intensive methods. Here, we develop a Fe1Bi single‐atom alloy that delivers 70.9% Faradaic efficiency and 0.94 mmol cm−2 h−1 yield rate through the atomic‐scale synergistic mechanism.

Transducers convert physical signals into electrical and optical representations, yet each mechanism is bounded by intrinsic trade‐offs across bandwidth, sensitivity, speed, and energy. This review maps transduction mechanisms across physical scale and frequency, showing how heterogeneous integration and multiphysics co‐design transform isolated ...

The effect of decoys in IED warfare
This report examines two forms of decoy that may arise in warfare involving improvised explosive devices (IEDs). The first is a fake IED, which costs less than a real IED and wastes the time of route-clearing patrols that investigate it. The second is an understaffed surveillance tower, which may provide some deterrence to insurgent activities, as from

Using an inferior decoy alternative to nudge COVID-19 vaccination
Optimizing vaccine uptake is a public health challenge that requires the implementation of effective strategies. The asymmetric dominance (or decoy) effect describes the increasing likelihood of selecting an option when a clearly inferior alternative is ...

Magnetic Textiles: A Review of Materials, Fabrication, Properties, and Applications
Magnetic textiles (M‐textiles) are emerging as a programmable materials platform that merges magnetic matter with hierarchical textile structures. This article consolidates magnetic material classes, textile architectures, and fabrication and magnetization strategies, revealing structure–property–function relationships that govern magneto‐mechanical ...
